K-8 Art Methods Portfolio

Name:  Brookelyn Beyers Description:  For this project, we first learned about holidays around the world. This was informative and helpful to learn prior to completing this project. After learning more about different holidays we got to paste a string on to our paper and then begin adding lights to our project. Extension Activity:  An extension activity that could be correlated with this project relates to Language Arts. In addition to this art project, students could create a story associated with what each color light describes. For example, the first light was purple which signified that I have siblings, etc.
