Project 8 - Ice Cream Cones: Printmaking

Description: For this project, we first learned about adding just one more. This was informative and helpful to learn prior to completing this project. After learning more about math we got to learn about printmaking. We discussed how to use gelli plates, paint, and paper to make our own ice cream.

Extension Activity: An extension activity that could be correlated with this project relates to Language Arts. In addition to this art project, students could create a short story associated with what kind of ice cream they made. For example, students could tell a story about someone ordering this cone or if they painted their favorite ice cream.
